Francesca Villa creates designs inspired by travel and art, blending treasures discovered around the world with precious materials.
Inspired by her son’s passion for wrestling, Francesca became captivated by the dramatic beauty of the wrestlers’ masks. The delicate balance of strength and vulnerability, as well as courage and fear embodied by these “performing heroes,” became the foundation of the WRESTLERS collection.
This ring, modeled after the character Octopus Man, is crafted in 18K pink gold and set with yellow sapphires. The expressive details of the mask are boldly brought to life in enamel. On the inside of the ring, an openwork star, a signature of Francesca Villa, adds a playful touch and showcases her attention to detail.
