Francesca Villa creates designs inspired by travel and art, blending treasures discovered around the world with precious materials. 
Francesca was inspired by the historical tradition of Lover’s Eye, a custom from a time when free marriage was forbidden. Lovers exchanged miniature portraits of each other’s eyes as a secret token of devotion. Paying homage to this romantic motif, she created the playful LOVERS EYE collection using rare lenticular eye images that shift expression with movement, winking lightly and appearing almost alive.
Surrounding the all-seeing lenticular image are baguette cut topazes, pearls, and tsavorites. The bail is adorned with diamonds, while vivid green enamel adds a bold accent. With even the slightest motion, the eye appears to glance around the room, bringing the pendant to life in a wonderfully surprising way.
The LOVERS EYE collection received the “Best in Pearl” award at COUTURE 2025, a testament to Francesca’s celebrated creativity and originality.
