Carnelian Intaglio Ring

Combining Greek and Roman art and Art Deco craftsmanship with a unique aesthetic, the Prounis ring is made of 22k recycled gold with ancient goldsmith techniques.
Historically, intaglios were used as personal seals pressed into wax. By carving a motif below the surface of a gemstone, the technique creates a lasting sign that can carry the wearer’s meaning. 
Set within warm gold, the hand-carved motif becomes a personal emblem, bringing a quiet sense of antiquity to the hand in both everyday and special settings.
