Francesca Villa creates designs inspired by travel and art, blending treasures discovered around the world with precious materials. 
This ring from the BEING CRYSTAL collection uses vintage Essex reverse rock crystal made in Britain in the late 19th to early 20th century. The carving and painting on the back of the crystal are done with traditional, highly skilled techniques that have been passed down through generations.
Around the crystal, which depicts a yacht gracefully drifting on the sea, fuchsia sapphires are set to give the vintage material a fresh new life. It is a Francesca style piece, elevating the beauty of an antique crystal into a contemporary jewel.
