Combining Greek and Roman art and Art Deco craftsmanship with a unique aesthetic, the Prounis ring is made of 22k recycled gold with ancient goldsmith techniques. A cabochon-cut blue sapphire, polished into a round mountain shape, is set to bring out the luster and pattern of the stone itself. The decoration surrounding the stone is done by a technique called granulation, in which minute pebbles are laid out to form decorative patterns and motifs.
