A single piece of lapis lazuli is quietly held in a 22k gold bezel. The bail, designed to take a chain or cord of your choice, takes the form of a laurel leaf—the ancient Greek symbol used to honor victors—and is finished in repoussé, an ancient technique that raises the pattern by working the metal from the reverse. The gold frames the natural volume of the stone without diminishing its raw presence.
