Shihara Lab is pleased to host the Prounis Trunk Show from September 4–7.
On Friday, September 4, founder and designer Jean Prounis will be at Shihara Lab to offer personal consultations on custom orders. This special event marks Prounis' first designer-attended trunk show in Asia.
Alongside the brand's signature collection in 22K recycled yellow gold, the event will feature custom-order designs — including the Intaglio Collection, where visitors may choose from a selection of natural gemstones and hand-carved intaglio motifs, and the Silk Cord Discus Necklace, which pairs four colors of traditional Japanese yorihimo silk cord with seven natural gemstone options.

Intaglio Collection
A collection of rings and pendants that can be personalized with a mark of your own. Choose from two techniques: Intaglio and Hand Engraving. Intaglio is a technique of carving a motif into the surface of a stone. Traditionally used for seals and wax impressions, this time-honored technique allows you to create a meaningful personal mark. Choose from four stones: Onyx, Lapis Lazuli, Carnelian, and Jade. Hand Engraving involves carving initials, names, meaningful words, or other motifs into 22K gold. Choose a ring or pendant and personalize it with your desired engraving. Both techniques are finished by skilled artisans, entirely by hand, one piece at a time. In addition to semi-custom options featuring Prounis's signature motifs and lettering styles, fully custom orders based on your own artwork or image are also possible.
Silk Cord Discus Necklace
A necklace from the Discus Collection, available to order exclusively during this trunk show. Inspired by the disc, an original form that has been at the source of countless creations, the design combines Western jewelry with traditional Japanese silk-cording techniques. Choose from four colors of silk cord, crafted using traditional Japanese braiding techniques, and four types of natural stones to create your own combination. The necklace features adjustable 22K gold sliders, including a granulated slider and a double-band slider, allowing you to customize the length. Enjoy the experience of creating a one-of-a-kind piece of your own.
